What we do
A Care Coordination Agency is the state-listed organization that does the ALW paperwork and care planning with you. Beta's ALW team helps you work out whether ALW may fit, asks the state to add you to the waitlist, keeps your file ready, does the nurse assessment and care plan when an opening is released, helps you compare homes that take ALW, and checks in every month after you move. Beta does not charge you for care coordination. Medi-Cal pays Beta directly.
What we cannot do
Beta cannot decide whether the state finds you eligible, predict how long you will wait, move anyone up the list, or promise a room, a care tier or a move-in date. Those decisions happen through the official steps, and we tell you when each one does.

Beta is listed by DHCS as a participating Care Coordination Agency under the name Beta Hospice Care. That name is the organisation's original line of work, hospice and palliative care, which runs separately from ALW care coordination. You may choose any Care Coordination Agency on that list and any participating facility. If you are unhappy with Beta's care coordination, you can email DHCS at ALWGrievances@dhcs.ca.gov. Who writes and reviews these pages
Program pages are written by Beta's ALW program manager and reviewed by a registered nurse on the team. Every figure shows its date and links its official source, and each program page shows the date it was last checked. If something looks out of date, tell us.
