DHCS's enrollment and waitlist file shows 14,809 people enrolled and 20,262 on the waitlist in February 2026. The waitlist has grown every month since August 2025 while enrollment has drifted down.

Apply early: the state holds one list and releases openings in batches, and Beta cannot predict the wait or move anyone up the list. The waitlist page explains the priority groups and what keeps a request ready. Beta does not publish its own agency waitlist count.
